As a Land Owner in Forbes Lake of the Ozarks Park you automatically become a member of the Landowners Association (LOA). The LOA is a Not-for-Profit corporation, governed by a five person Board of Directors who are elected by the members of the Association. One of the Boards most important areas of concern is maintaining and repairing roads.

The Board also establishes rules covering all aspects of the Parks corporate and financial functions, appoints members of the Environmental Control Committee (ECC),  and enforces all the provisions of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.

Annual assessments are assessed and used for improvements and maintenance of the roads, recreational areas and payment of Association property taxes, security and insurance. Assessments are payable annually by each lot owner on or before October 1st.
