Annual Fishing Tournament

Location: Bob Lake

Each land-owner and their family members may participate. They may invite a total of 2 guests. If you attended the tournament, you can receive 2 fishing tournament tee shirts afterwards. Additional tee shirts may be available at cost.
You may keep what fish you want as long as they meet the minimum size limit and you do not exceed the creel limit.
We will be awarding a prize for the largest fish in each of the following categories: 1. Blue Gill (minimum 8”) (This includes Red-Ear Sunfish, Blue Gills, Green Sunfish, and Hybrid Sunfish.) 2. Crappie (minimum 9”) 3. Large Mouth Bass (minimum 15”) 4. Catfish (12”). If two fish of equal length are submitted, then the heaviest will win.
There will be numerous drawings for fishing gear and other items.
Fishing area limits: No fishing on land outside the red flags left and right of ramp area and left and right on dam. You can only fish on other land if you have specific permission from the land owner. This is on the honor system.
Start: 8:00 AM horn will sound
End: Horn will sound at 11:45 AM to make you aware that you have 15 minutes left. The 12:00 PM horn will sound ending the contest. All poles must be out of the water and you should take your fish to the measuring area to have your fish measured by 12:30 Prizes. Following the tournament, lunch will be served with ice tea, and water at the LOA building. Any other side dishes you would like to bring would be appreciated and enjoyed by all. You don’t have to be in the tournament to enjoy the lunch that follows.
